Resins for sewer rehabilitation robots - high-quality and effective
High-quality materials are essential for successful and long-lasting sewer rehabilitation. With its special epoxy resins, Pipetronics offers customized solutions for the most diverse requirements in trenchless sewer rehabilitation. Our epoxy resins are perfectly matched to our sewer rehabilitation robots and also offer excellent performance in applications with systems from other manufacturers. Discover the innovative PI.TROC 21, PI.TROC SP and PI.TROC TH epoxy resin systems - developed to realize even the most demanding rehabilitation projects efficiently and reliably.
PI.TROC 21 - For friction-locked grouting and rapid renovation
The PI.TROC 21 epoxy resin was specially developed for side inlet renovation and impresses with its high viscosity, which enables fast and even distribution in the renovation area. It is ideal for the robot-assisted rehabilitation of nozzles and pipe inlets and is preferably used with the PI.TRON grouting system. The blue coloration of the resin is particularly advantageous, allowing the rehabilitation process to be monitored precisely through the transparent formwork of the system.
For applications where even faster curing is required, we offer PI.TROC 21 R, the fast curing variant. This ensures faster processing and accelerates the entire restoration process without compromising on quality.
Properties of PI.TROC 21 and PI.TROC 21 R:
- High chemical resistance
- Resistant to biogenic sulphuric acid
- Very good adhesion to damp and dry substrates
- High mechanical resistance, also against abrasion
- Simple application and high precision
Processing instructions:
- Mixing resin and hardener in a ratio of 3:1
- Processing using robot technology with shuttering technology
- PI.TROC 21 and PI.TROC 21 R reach their full load-bearing capacity after complete curing
DIBt approval: PI.TROC 21 and PI.TROC 21 R are approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt), which underlines their high quality and reliability in renovation.
PI.TROC SP - For clean and precise filling
PI.TROC SP is a paste-like epoxy resin that has been specially developed for the filling technique and is ideal for repairing joints, cracks and other defects. Thanks to its paste-like consistency, it can be worked into the substrate very easily, which ensures high precision and a clean result. PI.TROC SP is an ideal solution, especially for renovations in hard-to-reach areas.
Properties of PI.TROC SP:
- High chemical resistance, especially to biogenic sulphuric acid
- Very good adhesion to damp and dry substrates
- High mechanical resistance
- Easy to use
Processing instructions:
- Mixing resin and hardener in a ratio of 3:1
- Processing by robot or manually by working into the substrate
- Can also be used on damp substrates
- Layer thickness of up to 5 cm possible
PI.TROC TH - For renovation using the hat profile method
PI.TROC TH epoxy resin is perfect for the hat profile process, in which felt hats are used for embedding branching side channels. Thanks to its thixotropic viscosity, the resin can be worked into the felt hats without dripping or run-off. PI.TROC TH is specially formulated for use with the PI.TRON HatSet and ensures clean and efficient rehabilitation of branching sewers.
Properties of PI.TROC TH:
- Very good adhesion to concrete, masonry, stoneware and metal
- High reduction in the tendency to drip
- Suitable for damp and mineral substrates
- Ecologically and physiologically harmless after curing
Processing instructions:
- Mix resin and hardener in a ratio of 2:1
- Manual application and incorporation of the resin into the felt hat
- Sufficient excess resin should be ensured in order to guarantee full-surface sealing
SAM 700 mixing and dosing station - perfect support for the construction site
The SAM 700 mixing and dosing station enables precise and automated processing of PI.TROC 21, PI.TROC 21 R and PI.TROC SP epoxy resins on the construction site. By automatically filling the cartridges of the sewer rehabilitation robots, the resin is dosed directly into the corresponding systems. This stationary solution guarantees consistently high quality and reduces the amount of cleaning required for the tools.
