The eCutter light is a compact, fully electric robot system for milling work in main sewers from DN 150 to DN 600. It consists of a robot, a synchronized cable drum, and a control box – all mobile and all operable with a standard 110/230 V power connection. This combination of performance and transport flexibility makes it ideal for confined urban construction sites or difficult terrain access.
Efficiency on the construction site – without extensive plant infrastructure
Unlike traditional rehabiliation systems, the eCutter light does not require an external compressor or water tank. For smaller construction sites or inner-city applications, this means less logistics, less setup time, and faster productivity. And for hard-to-reach locations, Pipetronics offers a practical solution for transporting the robot system away from paved roads with a powerful electric motor wheelbarrow.
For complete independence from the grid, Pipetronics also offers a 4 kWh battery pack that can power the eCutter light for an entire working day. Those who need more power can upgrade to 8 kWh – for maximum self-sufficiency with minimum effort.
Greater serviceability thanks to modularity
The eCutter light has a fully modular design. The six modules — camera, milling motor, cover, connector plate, rotary feed, and robot body — can be replaced individually without any complicated procedures. “Our customers can replace the camera and milling motor themselves on site with just four screws. This saves time, prevents downtime, and ensures real practicality,” emphasizes Markus Lämmerhirt, Technical Director at Pipetronics.
Full power, clear vision, long range
The robot itself is equipped with a brushless 48 V motor and has three swiveling axes, endless rotation, and a precise camera unit with LED lighting. It is controlled intuitively via the control case with joystick – simple and precise. The cable reel can be extended to a range of up to 200 m and offers an integrated video recorder and a video output for external systems.
A system that adapts to the application
The eCutter light proves that compactness does not have to mean compromising on performance. Thanks to its sophisticated technology, modular design, and genuine mobility, it is the ideal solution for modern, trenchless sewer rehabilitation — whether in the middle of the city or at a remote shaft in the forest.
